Question about bowhunting from treestand?
I am about to build a wooden tree stand in my backyard. Should I build it with the seat so that I don't have to stand up to take a shot off, or can I stand up on the stand to take a shot? Do most people shoot bows from a sitting position or stand up when you see a deer coming?
In other words, can deer easily sense me standing up to prepare for the shot? I don't want to stand the whole time, but I want to stand up for the shot.
