Any Thoughts on the Guarder Full Tune-Up Kit?
Here is what I am referring to:
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-part/parts-upgrade-aeg/ftk-full-tune-up-kit/guarder-sp120-full-tune-up-kit-for-marui-g36c.html
I am considering more or less gutting my JG G36K and replacing it with these components. Are any of these known to be problematic? I know that Guarder makes some nice stuff, so don't see why this could be worse than what's in there now.
And I'm also thinking of buying this:
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-part/parts-upgrade-aeg/motors-parts/gandp-ak-m120-high-speed-motor-short.html
Do you think I should upgrade my gearbox for these upgrades? I know that it already runs an M120 in it and is holding up okay, but I am just wondering.
Would I be better off buying each piece separate so I can get the best of each component? I don't have a lot of money to throw around, so I don't think I can do down that road.
Any comments? Thoughts?
Guarder is pretty high on the scale of internal parts quality, about on par with G&G and G&P. Buying as a set, you cheap cheaper parts, but they're still well made, and a good deal better than what's in it now. It wouldn't hurt.
As for the motor, it'll hold up just fine, and improve your ROF a bit, but it isn't necessary. I'd rather have a bit better set of mechbox internals than a nice new motor. Still, your call -- you know what you're doing.
You would be better off buying each part separately, but if you can't afford it, you can't afford it -- a Guarder FTK is going to improve the internal stability a good deal, and for an m120, you really don't need more.
