What kind of knife do you use? (For serious hikers and survivalists.)?
Question for survivalists and SAR's (Search And Rescue). I hike and camp a lot and want to know what you all use. I am looking for a fixed full tang, 4in. blade. Please list price and link. Thanks.
Schrade model 152, or my trusty k-bar. I also carry my leatherman pro. All are good choices, and easy to carry.
My schrade is well over 30 years old and still in remarkable condition, even with the harsh use it has suffered. I don't know the quality of a newer model, as I have had no reason to buy another one.
