I was in a serious auto accident what should I expect?
I was at a complete stop on the freeway and I got rear-ended by a utility truck going 60mph. I ended up on the shoulder and he also hit the car in front of me. My car was destroyed, and I ended up with my ankle being broken on both sides and a piece in my foot shattered. I had to have pins sticking out of my foot. I also ended up getting a blood clot. I have an attorney and they told me they could not give any kind of estimate, because that is their company policy. My doctor told me that I will have arthritus and will never be 100%. Can someone please tell me what to expect? We are going to be settling soon, and I am getting rather nervous.
