Remington 700 SPS Tactical? anyone got info on it?
as most of you know im looking for a .223 for varmint hunting so ive been looking for a good heavy barreled gun. i was looking at the Remington 700 SPS Varmint but i looked at one in person this past week and the stock is a MAJOR turn off for me, it just feels to fake and its a noisy plastic material so i put it back and havent looked at them since.
but while at the gun store the Remington 700 SPS Tactical caught my attention. it has a nice 20 inch barrel and the stock is a Houge over molded the gun is also light enough with that short barrel that i could use it for coyote hunting and its short enough to not be cumbersome like the Varmints 26 inch barrel.
so does anyone have experience with the Tactical?
