What vest works better?
Hi i have an acu uniform, a woodland uniform and getting a desert uniform. Which vest would be better (try keeping in mind i want to stay almost exacltly like a us soilder) So which vest would work better an OD green or a black. I play in woodland and urban enviroments. The vest is a molle vest and ive seen a us soilder wear any kind of camo pouches on the vest so i dont worry about that.---------------------------1).So i want a color vest that would match with the uniform and the enviroment 2). I don't know much about the army, but I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps and was around a soldier or two. You say you have acu and woodland and desert. Im assuming the woodland and desert are marine since the army only has the acu, unless your talking old school uniforms. In the Marine Corps we only needed stuff on our chest when we were wearing a flak, and they already have molle loops. But they did issue us LBVs, load bearing vests, which were green, but I rarely had an occassion to wear one.
In Iraq we just stuck whatever kind and color pouch we found useful on our flak, stateside they get all huffy if the colors don't match.
Soldiers also dont seem to have much pride or uniformity in their uniform, they all seem to be OFP. If you want to look like a soldier, wear whatever the hell you want.
Forget the army, all of their uniforms and everything are dumb anyway. Go with marine marpat, for a uniform choice. What your looking for is a green and/or camouflage LBV.
