Do you need 20/20 vision to be a sniper?
My prescription is -1.25 which is very minor, but i have contacts and glasses for it. Would i need to get laser surgery?
I heard that scopes on rifles and such can be adjusted according to your eyesight
in the canadian army 
I served as a US Army sniper with vision corrected to 20/20. You'd have to check with your recruiter to see if there is a limit for uncorrected vision (glasses break, contacts fall out, etc.) but about a third of the snipers I knew used some sort of vision correction on a daily basis.
